Together for Tomorrow: Meeting Community Challenges with Engagement and Experience

The Muslim Public Affairs Council of Western New York (MPAC-WNY) invites you to our annual Community Forum on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 120 Alexander Ave, Buffalo, NY.

This year’s theme centers on how we, as a community, can meet today’s challenges with intentional engagement and shared experience. The forum will feature a series of timely conversations and presentations on youth empowerment, civic engagement, interfaith collaboration, and community advocacy.

Program Highlights:

  • Reflections on key government engagements, including the NYS Governor’s Iftar, the NY Attorney General’s Roundtable, and the US Attorney’s Invitational

  • Presentation of the 2025 Millennial Scholarship Awards and a spotlight on the Muslim Youth Career Expo

  • Strategic updates on M-RAISE, interfaith partnerships, and MPAC-WNY’s advocacy efforts

  • Discussions on pressing issues such as antisemitism definitions and emerging public policy concerns

  • A special fundraising segment to support our ongoing community work

  • Time for networking and light refreshments

Check-in begins at 1:30 PM
Salat-ul-Dhuhr will be observed before the program begins
Reception and Salat-ul-Asr will follow the closing remarks
